Re: Fuse 1.5.4 released

Thanks Peter, the credit for this one goes to Alberto Garcia who took the initiative to produce and maintain the Flatpak release - glad to hear it is already being helpful!

Re: Fuse 1.5.3 released

does not seem to honor the settings about tracks and sides of the disk image Could you describe what exactly you mean here? By default Fuse emulates a double-sided 80 track disk drive for the +D. What 40 track images are you using, what are you doing with them and what are you expecting to happen? :)

Hi PeterJ
Yes please do I'd be happy to have a look (though I'm no expert on Ubuntu or apt). Have you seen the Ubuntu packages here https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fuse-emulator - maybe you could reuse these package scripts as well?

Re: Fuse 1.5.4 released

Hi PeterJ We mainly focus on source releases, but would be happy for someone to build and maintain a PPA with latest Fuse releases. There is some discussion at the moment on supporting Flatpak which would let many Linuxes have up-to-date releases when they are released without wai...

Re: Fuse 1.5.2 released

Hi Einar Saukas , Yes, that should be fairly straightforward to do as basically writing out the first row of each MLT attribute line as the attribute for the SCR - note that there may be some glitches at some points as the real breakdown of the screen image is the MLT image. I've ...

Save states.. Is not RZX and rollback what this is about? Maybe @serbalgi , @Fred et al. have overlooked the possibility to support Netplay on Retroarch :) The fuse team don’t make the libretro plugin for Fuse, I do know that the person that does was investigating upgrading it to a newer version an...

Re: Fuse 1.5.2 released

Hi Peter. The phantom typist is how tape and disk autoloading works in Fuse since 1.5.0. The new UI just lets you select the mode from the preferences, in case you are using a custom ROM that changes how file loading is done from the default on a machine - e.g. switching from keyword entry o a 48k m...

Re: Fuse - How to get disks working properly

I would have liked to test this feature but I can't seem to get even a standard disk image to save correctly. You may be able to get it to work if you make yourself a double-sided disk image to use as a start. Configure fuse for a double-sided drive A: on the +3, insert a new disk image and save it...

Re: Fuse - How to get disks working properly

This feature was definitely developed with commercial software dumps in mind - the standard disk image you get when you "new" a disk is a 180k single sided image, so I'm not surprised that things go pear-shaped when you flip it looking for the (non-existent) other side! A good bug report a...
