Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.

Not a loading screen but some nice box art. "Dozy looking red maggot emerges from a hole in the the ground facing right next to a cup of tea. A dozy looking bee flies from the the left above a pink and white spotted mushroom growing from the ground. Shrubbery can be seen behind the maggot."...

Re: How did your ZX Spectrum die?

Mine went into the loft fully functional around the time I move to the Amiga I suppose (1991) and then it came back down again in about 2007 fully disfunctional. That was a bit of a bum.

Re: Pie-in-the-sky, SAM Coupé Edition

Really enjoying this thread - thank you for posting. Great to see what might have been. I had no idea there was a Street Fighter Port for the SAM, and, looking at it now it has to be said it's a ruddy great conversion of that dreadful Amiga version. Re: Would you like a SAM Coupé sub forum (Poll)

I voted yes because it seems tidier and an obvious place to go to should I require SAM discussion. However, I generally consume the forum only via the recent topics thing at the top of the forum anyway! It’s incredibly convenient.

Re: Are amiga games bad?

I'm being harsh because some of the games that came out from 96-99 for the PC were many times better. Might and Magic 6, Fallout 1&2, Jagged Alliance 2, heroes of might and magic, system shock 1 & 2 The Amiga's commercial life span was from 1985-1993, with very small incremental updates in ...

I think part of the problem is that no normal person will have gotten that far through the game!
