Re: uMIA games from the Investronica/ZX contest
There is a homebrew game called Taipam which was developed by J. Bayon. It was recovered and published here:
https://trastero.speccy.org/2004/200904/200904.htm
It might be that same Taipan that was mentioned there?

Hi Iván!
One of those (Curso de contabilidad II, also called Contable-2) was recently preserved by Alberto Cuesta (yet to be published).
The rest of them are still MIA.

Re: Sol Negro colour version
Hello, That's not entirely precise. The coloured version of the game was indeed recovered in 2005 and published through speccy.org, but it was released comercially back then. There was no individual release of it - instead, it saw the light of day within the compilation "Pack 5 Éxitos de Opera&...

Hi there!
Is there any foreseeable plan to install any other plugin that generates RSS feeds?
Call me oldie, but I loved this feature and miss it quite much...

A couple of photographs of the official binding for the eight installments of Concon (along with 7 out of 8 tapes): https://i.ibb.co/ygMtDZ8/concon0.jpg https://i.ibb.co/j89NLyZ/concon1.jpg Each installment was sold individually with its co-related tape. Hi Einar: Here comes the list. Please do not hesitate to ask me any question you may have. I think Neil Parsons may add valuable information here: 48K: Covertape (comes with a rather simple magazine, but it has editorial, news and even some type-ins). Some of the programs may have...

Re: Babbage?
Hi, The above discussion raises another question to me. From the old WoS times, we've been classifying certain kind of Spanish tape collections or series as electronic magazines when they aren't zines - at least not in an strict sense. They shared some characteristics though: - Sold in newstands - N...

Re: Babbage?
Hi Einar, I'd say it's not a covertape but an electronic magazine. Not long ago I found this advertising leaflet somewhere on the Internet. I don't see this as conclusive proof but it seems to point in that direction. I'd say it was sold as a standalone cassette accompanied by a backing cardboard. I...

Hello spider:
Nope, I'm logged into this site. I've just checked it again just in case and tried once more, with no luck.
Thanks anyway!

Hi PeterJ ,
Just noticed this - that's a really nice feature! I'd like to use Feedly to follow the forums, but it's seemingly not working.
May it be that Feedly is blocked as well, as flatduckrecords suggested?
Thanks for your brilliant work!

Hi Einar,
Love this question!
I was using "entity" as well in the SPA2 database, so your proposal sounds great to me. Anyway, I'd love to read proposals from native English speakers, so I'll follow this thread carefully!
Cheers,
Juan

Considering the definition of derived game that you provided later, it simply doesn't fit. Please just forget about it - it was just a wild idea! Of course, you and Juan F. Ramirez are absolutely right about the fact that changes in the Spanish re-release were merely cosmetic (mus...

Re: HELP WANTED: Derived games
Though it's not the same case, I was wondering if El Mundo Perdido could be split from People from Sirius by creating a new entry and using the new derived relation. I've always thought that the current re-release relation falls a bit short, but it is essentially the same game anyway - certainly not...

So it seems, yepSo everything is loaded but it's not enough. I would say that you have a perfect copy of existing tape, no more preservation work is needed.

Re: LosInhumanos
Yesterday I asked my good colleague Fede to check his Sabrina tape in order to make sure that sides 1 and 2 were exactly the same - and indeed they are. In other words: in data terms, José Manuel's TZX image is a perfect image of what was published in both sides. This applies both for the first Iber...

Whoops - I overlooked that thread, sorry! (I was even mentioned there! :o ) The version that José Manuel released through in El Trastero corresponds to the original release (double case - it came with a music tape). We've got another TZX in the pipeline, which corresponds to the single case re-relea...

By the way, maybe you could be interested with restoring final part of Sabrina from Amstrad CPC? ;) It would be something similar to the work you did with Los Inhumanos: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1412 Sabrina is in the pipeline as well - it was already preserve...
