Re: Carlos Sainz World Rally Championship
This is definitely, one of the best Spectrum games ever. Got me so hooked about 17 years ago until I completed it, playing it every evening for 2 weeks (it has passwords, so that is another point in favor). At the beginning it may seem very complicated to master, but when you get the hold of the con...

Excellent work, people! I have barely any time to do anything, but I appreciate it a lot :) some very interesting titles in there! (a uMIA from 1994, Spain, and a uMIA commercial French game among others!). BTW, the in-game screenshot of El Experimento seems to be somewhat strange  https://spe...

Re: Lots of German Spectrum games/programs preserved, all the German users, HELP identifying and classifying them
Thanks for helping out and for the info, sn3j ! It also seems that another type-in for the Spectrum was published in that issue of the magazine, called "Superfile", which is, also in the recovered files: https://trastero.speccy.org/2023/IVAN/C10a14B/C10a14B.htm :) By the way, the game of t...

Strassenfarher is Cars: https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/18379/ZX-Spectrum/Cars As for Dame, I'm almost sure it's a type-in, because I have the same game in a family made cassette (the same where I found Cars): https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7636 Thanks! Re: Lots of German Spectrum games/programs preserved, all the German users, HELP identifying and classifying them
Another 20 programs are now available, and this time, these are more difficult to classify as they are more obscure and small programs (some of them Homebrew from the early 80s):

Re: Lots of German Spectrum games/programs preserved, all the German users, HELP identifying and classifying them
Thanks, Einar!
Yes, some of them are already in the archive, but for example Boxe is MIA, so it could be uploaded already
I have to also load some of the others, as I think that by loading them we can find some authors that are not yet mentioned

Hi there! Or should I say Hallo Leute :) We have managed to preserved LOTS of german tapes containing a lot of programs like type-ins, homebrew, MIAs and the likes :) However, I am not very familiar with the early 80s german Spectrum games/magazines/programs, so it would be great if you German guys ...

Re: ZOSYA - Best game graphics ever?
I really think they are doing the best Graphics ever on the Spectrum, along with some other homebrew groups like Retroworks and Sanchez Crew. XTM compared them with Dan Dare 2, aber mann :D, I think Dan Dare is far away from some of the Zosya productions, as sprites are limited and repetitive as wel...

While checking the RZX of the game, at the end of it:
It seems like some lines of code were "infiltrated" into the final message?

"Turtle" looks identical to "Turtle Bridge" which is chapter 4 of Richard G Hurley's "15 Graphic Games for the Spectrum", Micro Press, 1983. Especially if line 1 is a REM statement with mchine code in it. Ace! How did you remember?! The game is not even yet in the SC d...

Re: Recognise the type-in?
Towering Inferno looks similar to the game Bounce in the DB. I feel like there are a lot like this, but usually the tower is on the left of the screen (like the Game and Watch Fire game they are based on). Thanks! You mean this one, right? :) https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/38680/ZX-Spectrum/...
