Re: Interview with Bo Jangeborg

Yeah, it's an interesting watch, isn't it? I produced the title loading screen for it, here's the version without the banner https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4755/27894662009_6db0d5f8d5_o.png I'm extending this vertically to include the whole window and making it like a movie poster with the title and ...

Re: Beginner's Sprite Tutorial

Yeah is it possible to see the frames for the 2nd one?
The 1st looks sound but the right leg in the 2nd one looks a bit weird at times. It could just be trying to view a small image in my phone, though.

Re: What are your current Spectrum projects?

A series of A3 prints of brand new Spectrum pixel art illustrations for 12 - 15 classic ZX Spectrum games. Pictures or it didnt´t happen! :P Hah! Not all at once and only in-between paid work - I'm working on at least 2 books next year. But you'll at least see the 1st 2 near the beginning of 2018.

Hello. That is me. As is @hot_piping.
Yes, they were never used in “Byte Me” and had been out of work until Blerk’s Minesweeper.

Re: Poll: Ocean early games

The thing is, I know all of them are pretty poor, but each and every one of those games in that poll mean something to me. I played them all in the early days of having my Spectrum and they were all something! Seeing the loading screen appear for Pogo. The wonderful abstract landscapes of the loadin...

Cassette release of "Vallation"

Shamelessly copied directly from Sokurah's original post, you can now actually buy the physical release of Vallation. http://tardis.dk/retro/vallation/images/vallation_logo.png As announced a while back, I’ve been working on a 128K version of Vallation. It was supposed to be out after 3-4 months, bu...

He's fair churning them out, isn't he? A great body of work for his portfolio, that's for sure.

Re: Xelda

Yeah, I like some of the sprites but I'm afraid the rest of the graphics aren't to my liking and, I'll admit this sounds shallow, puts me off playing the game. But the idea of it all has real potential and for a 1st game! Woah.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hello, I'm Craig Stevenson also known in various places as redballoon or @hot_piping on Twitter. I'm a ZX Spectrum graphic artist and freelance illustrator.
