Re: Little bugs in the database 4

According to the April issues of C&VG , ZX Computing and Your Sinclair , the Adventure Writers Handbook was sold directly by Incentive for £1.25. There doesn't appear to be any evidence of it also being supplied via the Home Computer Club - it definitely wasn't in my copy at the time. I was loo...

Re: The mystery of The Alchemist extras

I had assumed mass duplication " duplitape :D ? " was merely the same as a 'tape to tape' setup but dozens of recorders/writers from one master and the audio circuitry and mechanical parts were like erm "production quality" (like you see on occasion broadcast quality AV items on...

Re: The mystery of The Alchemist extras

This is really interesting. Something similar happened to the game Dominoes (https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1431/ZX-Spectrum/Dominoes). For some reason, the game was credited to David H. Lawson. Looking at the tape code, there is a fragment of Arcadia's code just at the end, with the D.H.L. s...

Codename Mat - https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... dename_MAT
Probably needs some sorting on the releases, there is a 1986 release among the 1984 ones.

Jabba Severn is another great artist that worked on the latest era of the Speccy.

Not a Codemasters game, but from another kind of prolific budget company, and I like you mention the dithering because I consider the artist one of the best on the Speccy

Sorry to throw you more work, but I'm looking for a game and also checking if I see screenshots with some differences :D BTW, when in doubt, I compare the screenshots at the top with the ones listed on the "Additional File Downloads", let me know if this is not the proper method. Brian Jac...

Re: Little bugs in the database 4

The page for In Search of Angels will probably need a bit of work too, at some point... The Z80 version on the page is *not* a 1984 (or even 1985) version. It has a custom font rather than the standard Spectrum font of the first release. I'm looking at all the versions stored there and almost every...
