Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
How did it work if there were no choices? There are numerous endings for example. For me, most of the interest came from it being interactive. I wasn't 100% aware of the choices thing till after I'd seen it and read a few reviews etc of it. It just paused briefly and then continued..I know many sce...

Downloaded and watched this a couple of days ago, obviously being the downloaded "movie" it didn't give me any choices. How did it work if there were no choices? There are numerous endings for example. For me, most of the interest came from it being interactive. I wasn't 100% aware of the...

Besides the speccy references I found it pretty dull to be honest.

Re: Isometric Atic Atac for Spectrum
The original method used in atic atac would work fine I think...fix it up a bit with maybe your guy in the middle in a "from above" perspective.

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
As such I didn't expect delivery of the finished unit anytime soon and that's why I got a board too...boards are easy to make and deliver etc. Have you (or anyone else reading this) had any experience with plastic cases and keyboards, it would be interesting to know whether the estimated 18 months ...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
It sounds a lot like you're looking for a reason to be miffed. But it is OK to hold and voice a different opinion towards some some aspects of the campaign, isn't it, or have I missed something else? Nope that's fine...but it might come across as an "I told you so" attitude rather than be...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
Just what exactly am I meant to play them on? Well, there are about 400 boards out there after all. Perhaps not much use to you, but useful for the people that has a board. Yep, 400 and change. The numbers were not fully reflected on the campaign. It only reflected those who specifically bought the...

Re: ZX Vega+ Discussion
Apparently Jonathan Cauldwell has said he's sick of the whole Speccy scene and is packing it in. I was wondering why he disappeared from Twitter. Too bad he took it to heart. I (kind of) understand his frustration, but why such a drastic “I’m done with the whole Speccy scene” move? Is there a scene...

A lack of timely updates isn't a concern to me...sure I'd like them but it doesn't cause me any concern or worry...maybe they are holding back the next update as a "Christmas gift"..re: a shipping announcement...updates don't guarantee anything anyway...Vega+ updated people with the likes ...

Can I ask why you'd want to do that? seems like overkill (and aren't the voltages wrong anyway).

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
As to the Vega+, no I didn't back that, it was obvious to me right from the start that there was something fundamentally wrong with the whole thing. Same, though the fundamental thing I couldn't get my head around was the point of a mobile speccy device when there are already so many choices around...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
You right of course, but as you can see, history is repeated. The very same people, who bitterly defended the Vega+ project until his failure, now do the same thing with Next here, with the same "arguments". Not even close to being the same...that's laughable. I have had my next for a yea...

Re: ZX Spectrum Next Discussion
but then there was months of issues where board only users couldn't get it to work properly, it didn't work with their Spectrum case, it didn't work with their television. Eh? It worked fine for me...and in my speccy case as the photo above shows...and TV problems were more down to the TVs I think ...
