Re: eLeMeNt ZX New Computer / Motherboard Replacement
The fabulous SID was added to the FPGA core. Currently one SID is supported. ZXi ports available for all SID registers and new, OLD6581/NEW8580/PAL/NTSC settings. https://sites.google.com/view/elementzx/home This brought not only a more convenient PSID-files emulation, but it is also an important st...

Re: Cyrillic version of the Spectrum ROM
Maybe a shared standard exists by computers with both latin and cyrillic alphabets in ROM?
Spektr48, Blitz, Hobbit, Orel Bk-08
At least some of them follow the KOI-7 character standard (do not know which one).

Re: So what actually IS the story with the Pentagon and Scorpion?
As Alone Coder said, a crucial issue is the timig. The very first - in english language written - explanation, is here: https://worldofspectrum.net/features/rusfaq/index.html There was a partial solution in nineties, in order to run new demos (converted to TAPs from TRDs), to purchase a +2A or +3 mo...

The example program isn't enabling ula+ so needs a few more outs: Really? I did not know about this fact. The ULA+ palette seems to be an inherent part of the Radastan, simply said: some ULA+ palette is always used. (?) Commands OUT 48955,64 and OUT 65339,1 should have different purpose, should swi...

Dear NEO SPECTRUMAN, big thanks for all effort you have done. Your player for the HW-SID in the eLeMeNt ZX has been presented right now at Bytefest . Also many thanks for the patience and support. I know it is at least the third SID standard for the Speccy, next the Unreal emulator and the ZX-TSid, ...

These are 6262 bytes long as they are in windows .bmp format. thanks, I was not aware of the length of that format I used this converter: https://github.com/Utodev/radascreen which can produce files of 6160 bytes a raw binary, in which a colour palette is stored right behind the pixel bitmap such a...

Re: Building a eLeMeNt ZX starting from bare metal parts
Hi, Marius is the mainboard coming from retrocomp.cz with FW installed The mainboard is ready with the FLASH memory content prepared (flashed), you need to make this final steps 1) put a 20 MHz CPU into the socket 2) install the FPGA Artix-7 Alchitry Au (or Au+) board on the eLeMeNt ZX motherboard 3...

Re: MB03+ Ultimate
Several hardware interfaces of the ZX-Uno, incl. radastan registers, were implemented into the LMN's hardware. Cute graphics of Radastan seems to be exclusively a matter of the ZX-Uno and SpecNext (?). Now you can run the radastan on any older ZX Spectrum with the MB03+ interface attached. Some soft...

Re: eLeMeNt ZX New Computer / Motherboard Replacement
eLeMent ZX core continues to merge the two worlds of western and eastern ZX-hardware. Now it came to a SD-slot of the Z-Controller . IMHO the best programs with a ZC support are Wild Player and Wild Copier . Software no longer needs to be patched for the divmmc. Both SD slots are available in esxDOS...

Re: Russian ATM Turbo 2+
NEO SPECTRUMAN made a NedoOS version of S98 player. I read it, wonderful, there is no problem with files bigger than 48/64K (or 640K) :) Maybe, would you start a separate thread named "NedoOS Primer"? Any comparison with the esxDOS will be also appreciated. For example: esxDOS - assembler...

Many thanks for pointing this issue. Please download the new version 1.8.4b.
+ now the LnxSpectrum can handle some eLeMeNt ZX ports, eg. CPU speed and internal memory of 2MB
Also please note the built-in esxDOS is updated to the latest v.0.89.

Especially for those who do not have free ZX+3/+2A keyboards, a PC keyboard support is added.
More details and the layout of mapped keys are given in the ProgRef manual: https://sites.google.com/view/elementzx/docs
Another news is that the eLeMeNt ZX begins to share some ZXi ports with ZX-Uno.
