Re: New Database Model ZXDB

Hi Patrik Rak , Einar explains it in the linked post. However if this column is so useful, why are we removing it from the database? Because we don't need to store it anymore. This column was originally filled manually in ZXDB, but now we use a routine to generate it automatically (the online form d...

It was just one that the organiser had collected over the years. It certainly is an unusual colour!

Good spot @Stefan. I'm very keen on us only storing 'virgin' type-ins (other than where there are errors in the listing) so I will make some changes to the entry..

Re: Little bugs in the database 6

I just noticed that the YouTube video in the entry for The Bard's Tale is apparently from a 2022 version. If you go to the YouTube page it says: This is an updated 2022 version made by Monsters Productions and Tiboh, and it has these changes: - Intro converted from C64 by Tiboh. - The game is conver...

Thanks @Pobulous,

So the PMGs (I think that's the phrase Atari use) are colour independent of the normal mode restrictions?

I'm with you there Pobulous . I can understand the appeal of the C64 Maxi, and Amiga Maxi (If it appears), but not the mini ones. As a slight aside, from a BASIC programming perspective I've never had a huge amount of love for the Atari 8bit range. To get anymore than 5 colours on screen at one time...

Very nice work gabriele amore and Lee Bee , You really do make the very most out of the Spectrum's colour pallette gabriele amore . Easy to get into, attractive, fun to play and not to hard for the occasional game player (at least on the early levels!). Lee Bee , I do love the rendition of 'Hungry L...

Hi DoctorRad , Are you also Dr_Rad ? If so, we need to merge accounts. You can't upload images (we don't have the storage space). Most users use sites like imgbb. Then you can include images in posts. PM me if you need any help. https://i.ibb.co/Y8bfBY9/image.jpg https://i.ibb.co/G93VcM1/2024-03-23-...

In the documentation he thanks the author of Classic99 (and others) for their contributions and support, so I'm guessing everything is tickety-boo.

I used the itch.io link @akeley.

I may well be wrong, but I don't think there is a PC version? It runs via the Classic99 emulator.
