Re: EveryGameGoing
Is this site reciprocal linking @Einar Saukas? Links from EveryGameGoing to SpectrumComputing are now working. For instance: https://www.everygamegoing.com/litem/Endless-Forms-Most-Beautiful/15405/ I'm assuming the game you selected will be added to the ZXDB available on other platforms table? Late...

EveryGameGoing
EveryGameGoing is a multi-platform site that covers everything from ZX80 to PlayStation 5. I'm glad to announce we have now started to work together in collaboration with EveryGameGoing too (as we have been doing with many other sites). As part of this collaboration, we should start to exchange inf...

Re: New Database Model ZXDB
And what about "book_pages" column? I didn't think anyone would ask :) This change will have to wait for another ZXDB update, simply because I forgot to add this column in the last ZXDB release. I only noticed my mistake this morning when I updated SC to display book_isbn, then realized t...

Re: New Database Model ZXDB
There's now a new column "book_isbn" in table "releases". The old column "book_isbn" in table "entries" is not used anymore, and it will be removed in the next ZXDB release. The reason for this change is that each book edition has a different ISBN. Therefore t...

Re: Little bugs in the database 4
This is a site issue.Stu wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 8:47 pm Not sure if this is a ZXDB issue or site issue, but the screenshot for Hollywood Featuring Batman & The Untouchables is looking a bit, uh, weird.
There's a thread here about these problems. Could you please report it there? Thanks!

Re: multi load
If a certain game is multi-load in 48K but single-load in 128K, then it's added to this group with a simple remark clarifying it, like this . There are so few games like this that I don't think it's worth it to create a sub-group. Obviously I was wrong! Let's have 2 groups: Multi-loader in 48K (gro...

Re: multi load
Right now ZXDB has a single group for Multi-loader.

Re: What's the most batshit keyboard layout ever?
But WT actual F is going on here? https://i.ibb.co/9rb4TZ2/squirmy.jpg It seems the author intended to implement Sinclair joystick controls but misunderstood the keyboard ports. The bit sequence to distinguish keys is exactly right but the input port is wrong. To scan the keyboard, you read input p...

Re: Little bugs in the database 4
I disagree. It's kinda like saying that every game submitted to this contest should credit the organizer for "design/concept" because he has chosen the theme "bike games". No, it's a completely different situation. How many "bike games" have there been before 2021? How...
