Re: The best Speccy game by Tartan Software: vote

Don't yell. I know we are past the "discussion" phase here :) My Tartan folder looks like this. You have more than me, i have more than you. I usually don't get involved in the discussion as you do the work and when its wrong someone always shouts up. https://i.ibb.co/48K3t7w/tartan.png My...

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

Thanks for that 8-) I love it but would go the other way - full resolution at greater expense: at that amount of money, a few quid more to get it perfect would definitely be worth it I've seen micro-Lego stuff... https://thebrickblogger.com/2014/09/nanoblock-micro-size-building-bricks/ Yeah, i woul...

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

I’d propose Space Cadet Farley from Project Future. Yep, he's in my current version below :) I have (almost) enough characters now, the sheet is pretty much completed. I now have to decide whether to drop some characters, shuffle it around and try to get it down to a 4x6 piece and save some money o...

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

This is the website, showing cost and size. OMG the size. Although i have the ideal bit of wall space...
So 168 pixels wide is 1.35m in lego! And a bargain at £350. lol.

Image

If i made it 4x6 plates instead of 5x7 it'd be £240, but still 1.1m wide.

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

Excellent images, i've grabbed those for later, thanks. I found a site that can create a pixel art (buyable) kit of your photos. They use 24x24 plates and 1x1 bricks. Far from cheap, but not quite as scary prices as i thought. Its maybe doable... The website has a built in app for uploading your ima...

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

This is not a war... They are all gonna have a big lovefest in the middle... Maria has a bit of a thing for men in white coats, thats why she's pointing out Mr. Rockit :) Ant Attack and Fairlight are going in. Thx. Knight Lore is essentially Sabreman and he is represented, so i have thought about th...

Re: Iconic Character Sprites

The orange and brown is to match my living room. This is going to be a thing eventually, i'll post a pic of the framed art when done. Ikari Warriors - good call, for me it was always Commando though, so i've picked up a sprite from that instead and added it in :) Layout is subject to change as it fi...

Iconic Character Sprites

So i saw someone had made a huge lego Atic Atac piece for their wall and was inspired (he said it was over 1m wide, spotted it on Facebook). Since seeing it i have been putting together a sprite sheet and have enquired about lego costs buying in bulk. If done with 1x1 bricks we are at almost 23,000 ...

But BeachHead also got some playtime too, and i absolutely hate sports games, but World Series Basketball i actually enjoyed as well... A tough gro...

Re: The best rereleased Speccy game by Alternative Software: vote

I wasn't going to vote here, too many top games, but The Trap Door is the finest of the finery so i'll vote for that...
Not doing a top three though, it would do too many games out of a justified vote.
