Re: List of all votes of a logged in user is broken.

Hi @ZXSpectrum128,

Thanks for the report. I see you are referring to the show all votes link on the individual entries page.

There have been some field changes in ZXDB. When I have a chance I will take a look.

Thanks
Peter

Re: Ubuntu Fuse: Full Screen Issues

Evening @GreenCard,

Nice to have another Linux User!

From memory there are two versions in the Ubuntu repositories. Gtk and SDL. The SDL version is full screen only and I believe it shows the correct perspective.

Retro Magazine Issue 22

English version of this free magazine released. Little or no Spectrum content, but still a great read.

Forum search results

I've changed the search results per page from 10 to 25. This is following feedback from @C.Born.

Just a reminder to make sure you log in before searching. If you don't, then a search frequency interval is imposed.

Re: "Sorry but you cannot use search at this time..."

As 1024MAK says we use shared hosting which is a cheaper option for smaller sites who don't have a lot of traffic. ZXDB is a relatively big database for this sort of hosting so we need to put restrictions in place. I don't see this changing in the future. I can fix the too many connections error qui...

@equinox,

When the forum first started I posted some instructions on how to copy links to search results. I will try and find it.

@equinox,

On the advanced search on the homepage there is 'Country'. Brings back three results. If there any any others please report to Einar. Thanks

Re: Who do you buy your spare parts from

Hi @Adrian45,

I've never had any issues paying with credit cards on a PayPal site without needing to login.

Can I suggest contacting Phil at Retroleum. I'm sure he would talk you through it.

Re: Forum e-mail alerts corrupted?

equinox , I've seen this very occasionally in Outlook webmail (maybe 1 in 100 messages), but not consistently. I'm a couple of upgrades behind on phpBB so maybe that will fix it. Busy with other projects at the moment, but will get to that when I can. I will also check the email settings on the php...

Hi @Miktor,

Jim Grimwood preserved a number of these in text format. On the following page scroll to the bottom to the Z80 tutorials section:

Pixels at the museum - Bogor Regis (6th April 2024)

My school friend (Jan Pniewski) and his wife Zoe have organised this retro gaming event in Bognor Regis. I will be there promoting the ZX Spectrum. If you think you can make it do let me know and we can catch up for a few beers. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GDl_gH8XoAAgf2S?format=jpg&name=large
