Is it Robin of Sherwood (Touchstones of Rhiannon)?

I thought it might be Robin of Sherlock at first but the graphics in that game aren't that good.

Cavern Fighter is pretty quick, the YouTube rzx video is less than 3 mins and that includes a bit of chilling out on the title screen...

It's not too difficult a game either, so even with the odd lost life and the painfully bright skyscraper level you can usually hurtle through it.

Nah. Garishly-coloured, seizure-inducing FLASH 1 loading screens were character building back in the 80s.

Yep I thought this was a deceptively hard game. Think I got off level 1 back in the day but that's about as far as I got.
