Re: ZX Dev MIA-Remakes - The new ZX Dev is already here!

Any clue? It would be an adventure game, type of "talk to person, get object, use it on something" But not a typed text game, it will be with graphics and clickable menu. And I really don't wont to say more at the moment ;) Radastan seems to be a finisher so I think this one will happen. I like you...

Re: Show previous instruction for breakpoint in debugger

Thanks! It'll try different options, beginning with Spec Emu. As for Tommy Gun, I have a general bad experience with it so it'll be my last resort. Look at the stack. If there was a call, it’ll hold the address of the instruction after the call. Yes, that would work in SOME cases. But... In general ...

Show previous instruction for breakpoint in debugger

Maybe a basic question but I genuinely don't know the answer. So I set a breakpoint in debugger and run the program. At some moment It hits the breakpoint and enters the debugger. And it's a first instruction of some block of code. So I may suspect some JP or CALL was before it. But how can I find i...

Re: ZX Dev MIA-Remakes - The new ZX Dev is already here!

Is anybody from here thining to enter?? I could enter with a bit of trickery about the rules. I have a 80% completed game which is a remake of PC game but there also exists some another, obscure and humble remake of that game on Spectrum. So I may claim that my game is a remake of that Spectrum rem...

Re: Some MIA games 3

Can you remember where they came from Ralf? Not really :( Maybe Facebook, The file dates are 2016 In the dark, recent days when we had no any database updates at all I collected files with missing programs when I spotted something but unfortunately didn't make any notes or documentation. Now I beli...

Aventura GAME isn't MIA
Good to know it, it means less work ;)
I searched the database under "GAME" but there was a very long list of results and I must have missed the proper one.

Some MIA games 3

Time to upload some new stuff for the database. No, I don't have any real unknown gems, but there's place in the database for humble attempts too ;) I have them also only in .z80 unfortunately. So: https://image.ibb.co/je2Moo/MIA.png 1. Aventura GAME a text game in Spanish, maybe the title is simply...

Great discovery anyway. I bet these Argentinian guys couldn't sleep when they learnt that they are classified as Spanish in biggest Spectrum database ;)

Re: Robot Santa (???) a MIA game?

Definitely worth preserving. By the way I read the original topic on WOS and it's a bit sad. A man writes a game, has it 95% done or so. Says that he needs just to polish a few bits, add loading screen and game menu... And then he disappears and never touches his project again. If you've done so muc...

Re: The best classic Speccy game beginning with P: vote

Voted for Ping Pong. Maybe we here bigger classics like Pyjamarama or Pssst but I suppose Ping Pong gave me most fun ot of it. Maybe it's technically nothing special but... The tune at the beginning is great. Later good multichannel beeper tunes became a standard but when Ping Pong was released it w...
