Отлично!

And even if there is a ZX-Dev 2019, this will not clash with it.

I have an idea, but unless I get organised, preparations for Woot! will take over.

Interesting :)

One comment. If they want it to be an international competiotion with entries from all over the world, they should really do an English version of the website.

And you should really read the rules carefully here before you start coding :) No remakes of existing games this time, everything must be totally copyright free.

I think, they put foreign countries into list because many exUSSR territories is still speaking Russian, like I do for example.

But there is a Portuguese and an English judge, and it focuses on 48/128K, so entries are welcome from anywhere I presume.

If I enter, there will certainly be a Russian version. I'd encourage others to have a bash, it's good fun and there is usually someone to help with translation.

It's not clear if game designers are allowed. Can we use AGD/PGD etc?

Andre Leao, who is in charge of this comp? And who do we go to with questions (on the forum or privately)?

I guess it´s the Yandex Museeum...

For what I can see, you can apply for a new game here: https://events.yandex.ru/surveys/10528/

For any questions you can use this email adress: [email protected]

Yandex is a big web company which is something like Russian Google. It has search engine, maps, translator + news, weather forecast, auctions and so on (so maybe it's even bigger than Google in functionality and a bit like Yahoo or Altavista if you forgive ancient examples ;) )

I guess some people from Russian Spectrum scene convinced them to give hmm... patronage (would it be a proper word? ) to this event.

I checked the thread at Russian forum ( https://zx-pk.ru/threads/30643-yandex-r ... -2019.html ) but it doesn't explain much more.

The rules probably need to be more precise. Currently they say that any extra hardware can't be used. Somebody noticed that it eliminates things like for example Kempston joystick ;)

And it would be also interesting to know if Russian language version is required.

If you are in, I help you with translation to Russian.

Oh well, I almost forgot about it. And sorry, I won't be submitting anything myself this time. I'll have something yet this year but
not for this compo.

But 15 games? It sounds really splendid. And in previous years some Russian compos ended with entries of really high quality.

Now you gave me a reason to wait impatiently for 5th December :)

There is no any preview according to rules :)
I made a geme in a 6 days so it's not big and not polished, but plays nice and i like it. Actually it's my first Nirvana+ game with almost full screen multicolor )

I've only had time to briefly try a few of the releases so far but I'm blown away already. The presentation of Drift! is mind-boggling, reminds me of something from the 32-bit console era. Gameplay seemed fun too. Yazzie by Denis is one I'll definitely play through to the end, looked good, felt and played great. So many quality releases, great compo!

And for those of us who would not touch Facebook with a 10-foot pole?

There is also Vkontakte as an option, a Russian clone of Facebook :D

I too am a bit disappointed by this, I've just spent a few hours playing them all to varying lengths and I would have liked to participate in the voting. I do understand their likely reasons ie. preventing ballot stuffing, etc..

I've been playing Valley of Rains. Beautiful graphics, tight controls and really fun! Reminds me of Savage but much better. I've made it to level 6, anyone know how many there are?

Just completed it! :D Took a fair few tries though (an auto-fire poke would've been nice). There are 8 levels. Had 3 lives left and a score of 3782 when I reached the end. Time can be really tight if you don't get a time-refill drop. Really awesome game!
