I was about to ask for a link to the English version (though I did learn Spanish at school for a few years, that knowledge has long gone), only to realise I was only looking at the first paragraph for each title.

It is mind boggling how much activity there is for this platform. Good to see Go Go Bunnygun in the list. Hope it comes out soon.

These all look great, and pretty diverse too.

Atomix ZX, Smeg and Coleco (a 'thrusty' game?) especially catch my eye.

Melkhior's Mansion is looking to be one of those games that, if released BITD would have landed the authors either inside a mansion or a wicker man! Speaking of which, glad to see that Savage Princess is probably going to happen. We're way overdue a Kevin McGrorty game.

BTW is there a main link to this MK1 competition? Not heard of it before.

I clicked 'translate' and it was part of the fun guessing which one was Ivan's and which Google's.

Now is the perfect time to start that duolingo course! Usually though, this is all you need (and is about my limit!)

Ivan, great article! You don't update your blog very often, but the content in those cases is terrific. Hats off to you :)

Actually now you mention Dinamic, you'd think that many brits of our vintage would know "TU MISION HA FRACASADO HAS PERDIDO TUS EFECTIVOS" off by heart!

(sorry Ivan - offtopic)

https://www.retromaniac.es/2020/03/mojo ... ta-la.html

I couldn't find an English version, sorry.

In short, the deadline is 30/09/2020, the point of the compo is to use the recently released MK1 and the email to send the game files is [email protected]. There is additional details in the page, with a bit of mojonesque humor on it as well, I dare you to google-translate all of it and see if you can fully understand it all.

There is no shortage of Spanish speakers in this forum if you need help ;)

Hehe. Google is better than you think. In some cases I preferred your phrasing, other Google's. All was fine.

It's not been forgotten. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who still has a job to go to at the moment!

It's in the middle of a bit of re-organisation to work out what data can be compressed to save memory. I've probably designed more sprites than I actually need instead of getting on with the coding, since I wrote a sprite sketcher for my Nintendo DS!
