This is great. You did an excellent job in putting the Bandersnatch material together.

I loved the Bandersnatch feature. A very complete story about the 'affair'.

Great episode again!

Good episode, as always..!

Makes you wonder what might have happened with Bandersnatch if the developers had more time (and money!). Wonder what they would have come up with. Wonder if anyone would have bought it..!

I have the feeling it would have been something like Shadow of the Unicorn, a big map, tons of screens, but nothing special.

Yeah - you're probably right..! Just like Mire Mare actually looked like Sqij! ;)

Interesting to hear the comment about how during the difficulties, the programmers had already used up half the memory available. Must have been strange as a Spectrum developer suddenly to be given that much more (KB) to use.

Yep, that's how I've long felt.

As a kid I swallowed all the Bruce Everiss-spun hype that this magical/mythical hardware widget would add groundbreaking new features but it was just a RAM upgrade, wasn't it? And a mere 16K one at that, IIRC. So, in fact, these 'mega-games' were going to have all the power of... a 64K Spectrum.

For that, Imagine were purported to be looking at a retail price of £30. With inflation that'd equate to around £90 today. Who would pay £90 for a game even today, when many titles really *are* mega-games? Sheesh.
