I have three puzzles to go all on level F:
My standard approach is a brute force on every column / row and then repeat. On this level I do not see what my next move should be (without simply trying stuff out):
Pixel Quest 2000 - aargh
Re: Pixel Quest 2000 - aargh
You can put a square on the second bottom row, last column (2,1,1,3) (4, 5).
Just like before, it's yesterday once more.
Re: Pixel Quest 2000 - aargh
Thanks - but why? 2,1,1,3 also fits to the left of the red X.

I'm currently on page F too.... some have been real tough and others are plain sailing. I'm solving them hopefully the proper way by calculating, counting and subtracting. I try not to guess. It's a great time waster though.

Elimination is what I'm using too. I have not guessed yet (unless by accidentally making a lucky mistake).
If you want a break - jump to page G, all but one of them are a breeze.

Nope! All levels can be solved without guessing, although some of them are really tricky...
Spoiler
Look at last 2 columns. Exactly one of these columns requires a painted square above (therefore none below), the other requires a painted square below (therefore none above). And it's not hard to figure out which one.
Thank you!!!
