On the flip side of things there's Run Bronwyn, Run where you are escaping from a castle before you have to marry a Prince of your parents choice.

The Sorceress series are probably the first Speccy games featuring a love story between two women. You must rescue your love in the first game, and in the second she stays at home and refreshes your energy when you back.
