Ah yes, so it did... viewtopic.php?f=21&t=382

So why has it re-appeared in this poll? Can't be in more than one, so, I guess 180 is actually the true winner right now.

Best we can do is declare the A-Z votes null and void, and start the voting again from 'A'...

It was mentioned multiple times but not enough against. So I put it in. But by the looks of things 180 is doing quite well.

"3D Deathchase" does not exist - it's not even an alternate title. Neither does "3D Lunar Crabs" for that matter.

I'm not really sure 3D Construction Kit is actually a game, but I loved it and so I'm going to vote for it. Deathchase was honestly a bit overrated, albeit fun enough. The rest of them don't really resonate much with me.

I think the great merit of Deathchase is that it's technically impressive being a game from 1983 and with only 16k.

And it's also bloody addictive too.

Well, I had expected this to be the end of the experiment (nearly two years!), but we've still not reached a proper 'W' result.

What I intend to do, is run yet another W result between Way Of The Exploding Fist and Where Time Stood Still (I never voted that time round, and I've only played one of those games, I guess I could be the deciding vote). And probably do this # vote again so we're free of Deathchase and the two 3D game makers.

Honestly, it's not because I'm wanting 180 to win at all costs.

It's going to be a meaningful vote. And I will unite the Speccyverse, there's absolutely no way this can go wrong...

Much simpler: As Deathchase won the D poll, if it finally gets first place, the winner would be which get the second place.

I am appalled at this shocking attack against the democracy of this forum. We must go with the results of the poll.

Specchums. We must face the truth—the proponents of 3D Deathchase lied to us all. They blustered in without a plan, and have made us all vote for a game that doesn't even exist.

There's only one way out of this mess—put it to the people.

Or this, I'd definitely go for this!!!

I think the fairest thing would be to start the poll again without Deathchase. Saying that though 180 will probably win the second place vote as it is AND win it outright if the poll was started again

Looks like I'm a bit late for the party. But I strongly support people saying that Deathchase shouldn't be here if it was under "D" already.

Sorry, but this poll has to be redone from scratch.

Not as far as I know, once the poll has been set up, it can't really be tinkered with.

namco PeteProdge, any chance you guys could have a crack and one of you do a new poll sans 3D Deathchase?

(by the way fellas, thanks SO much for doing these all these polls, I can't believe we (have nearly) reached the end!)

The results so far:

3D Deathchase: 16
180: 11

We need 6 guys that haven't voted yet to vote for 180 till next 3 april.

This would be the easiest solution.

I do recall doing an edit to a previous poll and that reset the scores. So maybe that could be an option? But in that case, could someone compile a list of what is not supposed to be there, other than Deathchase? Lunar Crabs was another complaint.

That's true. I've played around with phpBB in my time. If you have database access, you can change the votes of course, it's a bit tedious and you have to look up every user's unique number.

I'm planning to run another Way Of The Exploding Fist vs Where Time Stood Still poll when this one's concluded, just so we can conclude the winner of W (although again, it could end up as yet another tie, I know!). Then I'll re-do this one, sans '3D Deathchase'.

Yes, I'd like to thank Namco for taking on the reins after my lengthy sabbaticals.
