Alter Ego is all round superb. Great idea, look and implementation. It could appear on any platform exactly as it is and still impress. I like it more than Dreamwalker (the multicolour Alter Ego 2).
Albatrossity is typical Jonathan—a brilliant idea, well implemented, with graphics in his distinctive, relatively simplistic style. Just imagine—a fun golf game! Has this been done elsewhere, or was it a totally new idea?
Brunilda and Aliens are amazing, but I felt they didn't quite sustain it enough along to way to make me keep wanting to play.

Aside from Alter Ego, nothing really catches my fancy in this list. I played Neoplasma for a spell on their in-browser emulator. Visually impressive, but a tad boring. Granted, I’m not much of a gamer these days; very few titles really engage me.
Every man should plant a tree, build a house, and write a ZX Spectrum game.
I went for Aliens: Neoplasma, but there are a lot of great candidates there, including Alter Ego and Brunilda.
I gave Abe's Mission: Escape a go, and now I'm wondering if Sword of Ianna was at least partially inspired by that game. Jumping, climbing up ledges, lever pulling, and basic character movement all feel quite familiar from Ianna. Abe's Mission has some nice explosion effects too.
