Right, at last, one of the major full-price labels for the ZX Spectrum - Elite. A west midlands outfit that had strong rivalry with US Gold, and well, these days they're not exactly endearing themselves to the retrogaming community with some rather questionable 'legal' activity, but hey, enough of that. Let's hear of your favourite Elite game on the Speccy.
You have 7 days to vote, this poll concludes around 10:15am UK time on Sunday 8th September 2019...

No doubt about the best this time: Commando. Excellent conversion, as good as the original arcade.
As to the 2nd and 3rd, hard to choice: Kokotoni Wilf, 911 TS, Bomb Jack, 1942, Airwolf, ... so my final election is:
1 - Commando
2 - Bomb Kack
3 - Kokotoki Wilf

I'm the one who voted for Buggy Boy, and I reckon I'll be the ONLY one to have done so. Sorry, but it's the one I spent most time on. It's a pretty nice racer compared to the dog's dinner that is Out Run.
Of course, this is largely a battle between Commando and Bomb Jack - I'd have picked one of those if Buggy Boy didn't exist. They are both so incredibly good. Ghosts N Goblins also astonishing.
1. Buggy Boy
2. Bomb Jack
3. Commando

As I mentioned in the discussion thread, this is between two absolute classics for me. It's almost a coin toss because they're both so good. But I think Bomb Jack just about edges it. 3rd place to Kokotoni Wilf; although not really close to the standard of the first two, still a good, fun game.
1. Bomb Jack
2. Commando
3. Kokotoni Wilf

Ooooh feck. This was what I was trying to avoid.
Okay, Duet should not be here. It's a Hit-Pak titles. One person's voted for it on this poll, but I'm declaring that (and any future votes for it) null and void.
Pop over to the Hit-Pak poll if you like Duet!
Thanks Joe for spotting this. A regrettable mistake.

Put my vote in for Commando as it gave me the warmest feeling of nostalgia compared to Bomb Jack and Airwolf, but genuinely surprised to see it that high in the poll. Elite had some good games.
1. Commando.
2. Bomb Jack.
3. Airwolf.
4. Kokotoni Wilf.

Got to be Kokotoni Wilf for me as that the one I spent the most time playing. Ghosts and Goblins and Frank Bruno's Boxing were pretty damn good too.
1 - Kokotoni Wilf
2 - Ghosts and Goblins
3 - Frank Bruno's Boxing
For some strange reason I also spent ages playing The Fall Guy

Yeah, same here, it's the usual crap game but inexplicably attractive to play!
It's something usual in some Elite games.

Weird how I know exactly what you mean. They just added some sort of gloss, but not necessarily to the game..? Hard to articulate.
