A cute game as payable today as back in the day. I've always loved it. The animation of sharks are really good.
Your views? Have you progressed much in it?

Hi
This was one of my favourite 48k games back in the early 80's. Durrell were quite a good puplisher on the Spectrum.
I got past the Giant Octopus before and got quite a way down into the next cavern and i think that was it. I always came a cropper trying to get back up to the boat.
But you're right, the animation on the sharks is very good.
Have you ever played Combat Lynx ??

I tried it sometimes, but it has a lot of keys, difficult to control.

I loved this game, but I died a lot playing it.
Either from encounters with see creatures, hitting the rocks, or running out of air.
The collision detection is really unforgiving.
Who knows, if I do real Scuba Diving today, due to this game ?

To be honest I never liked it that much. I did not play it back in the day, and had to force myself playing it years ago for a Speccy Tour. I found it rather repetitive, and also unforgiving at times, as other folks here did.
But that shark is really impressive!

I play this from time to time and really enjoy it. Despite its toughness I find it really relaxing. I’ve never recorded my scores or progress but I’ve been pretty deep - down past the two octopuses and through lots of tunnels.
A solid 3.5 to 4 out of 5 game.
