So it seems this website has no way to simply browse the games database, e.g. view games by year, title, category, etc.

You can search by year, category, etc, but it would be nice to have alphabetic browsing, too.

Hi @Joefish. As @Rorthron mentions you can search by year, title, category, author, machine type and publisher using the advanced search form on the home page. Let me know if you have any problems. It also has the option to find a random game within the categories set, and you can pick multiple categories to do complex searches as well. Note that all searches have to be for 3 or more characters.

It was also announced just before Christmas that the quick search (The one at the top of the home page) now searches all these items combined:

viewtopic.php?f=29&t=242

Alphabetic browsing is a good idea, and it is on the list for development. A post detailing areas that people can help with (including this) will be published in the next few days. We are working on another fairly large piece of development currently but will publish timescales for this when the current work is finished.

Bangers and Mash by Alternative Software
Blind Panic by Your Sinclair

I think "Blood 'n' Guts" will be "Fantastic Voyage" to most so best left as F.

Oh go on then, can we have:

Beebul by Scorpio Gamesworld. Even though it's literally impossible I love it, but I'd need several pints in me to vote it best of the lot.
