Ah, I see now where the confusion comes from. No, the first MC release was a 1.0, and the BASIC version never actually had a version number.Einar Saukas wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 4:37 pm IIRC your first Assembly release was called v1.01 to distinguish from your BASIC version 1.0. The current ZXDB information simply reflects this information.
A quick overview. After I dug up my 1992 BASIC game, I cleaned it up, added the missing assets, and released it in August 2016. Had no plans of revisiting it it.
Months later, however, in early 2017, I decided to redo the whole thing in assembly. Released that on March 15, 2017 (v1.0.0). Made five updates to it since then.
Not sure where the “BASIC is v1.0.0, assembly is v1.0.1” originated, really.
Sweet, thanks! I’d put 2017 in parenthesis, though, A Yankee in Iraq (2017), as it’s not part of the title. And, if possible, the in-game screen for it should represent the latest version, as well.Einar Saukas wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 4:37 pmHowever, since you prefer separate entries, I will change everything accordingly. Would it be OK if I named them "A Yankee in Iraq" and "A Yankee in Iraq 2017"?
