Does anybody remember what was the inspiration for the little robot from Pssst ?

I remember seeing some photo, probably from some movie, of a robot which looked exactly like the goy from Pssst but can't find it at the moment.

Oy vey.

Actually I haven't seen that movie. Guess I'll have to update "to do in my life" list ;)

I've never heard of that film. Just searched some info and it seems quite an interesting sci-fi film.

Curious the way how we can find films to watch! :)

I came across an arcade flyier some days ago in internet (and can't find it now), from Nintendo's Puch Out. One of the characters looked very similar to this guy:

In fact, the game might be considered an unnofficial conversion of the Nintendo game.

Dude from "Butch - Hard guy" is also obviously copied from Sylvester Stallone as Rambo:

Nonsense. Rambo is clearly copied from Butch Hard Guy.

Yes, many Street Fighter characters are inspired by some real or fictional person.
A quick Google search gave me this article where it is described in details:

I remember reading somewhere that dude in loading screen for Trantor is copied after... Jon Bon Jovi :)

But I lack the definite proof here. that's the closest I found:

Possibly also the Legend of Kage cover, but I'm not so sure:

There is also a hint of Ming the Merciless. See this Flash Gordon poster:

Psssst, Rorthron..... the images in your last 3 postings have failed to appear. Probably on a tea break and extended loo session.

Images work fine for me. In fact the Conan the Barbarian art looks like one of Oliver Frey's denied Crash covers.

I think the problem is with Chrome. The images work fine in Firefox and Edge. Chrome seems to be blocking vgy.me: it even blocks the URL when typed in the address field: "You cannot visit vgy.me right now because the website uses certificate pinning."

Ah, but I'm using firefox....
The strange thing is that all of the images that I could previously see from you in this posting have also gone. Images from other forum members are ok though.

Odd.

Can you see Morkin's images of Balachor's Revenge in this thread? (He also used vgy.me.)

Nope, just the words image image. I can see Dave's graphpaper artwork though.

Oi, that's my graphpaper artwork! :)

It makes even less sense that you can see one, but not the other, as they are both on vgy.me.

To add to the confusion, I can't see R-Tape's images in that thread and they are not on vgy.me.

To add to more confusion, I've fired up the other PC with Windows 7 and Chrome browser and the pictures are there...
The Firefox browser is with XP...

And to add even more confusion to the normal confusion, yes I see your Balachor graphpaper graphic with Win7 + chrome and I also see Dave's graphpaper wonderchars designs (the ones you don't see). And it's snowing outside!
