No. The pic is about two warriors fighting (how original! - Ed)
And the game cover is about two warriors fighting as well.

The game's title contains a divine hero from greek mythology...

Re: Game art copied from elsewhere
It does bear a resemblance to the cover of Gremiln’s Hercules Slayer of the Damned.
Re: Game art copied from elsewhere
I can't remember and find it but it reminds me an inlay of some very classic game from the 80s, probably not for Spectrum though.
It was RPG or text game. And on the inlay there was a very agressive looking warrior with a moustache raising sword to kill some frightened goblin. Actually it made you feel sorry for the goblin
Anyone has any idea what it could be?

That's it! ... or at least it was the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw it!redballoon wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2018 11:58 am It does bear a resemblance to the cover of Gremiln’s Hercules Slayer of the Damned.

I think Hercules is actually copied from this picture by You Know Who:
Gilkarth's Odyssey (The Ax Man), by Boris Vallejo

And the is minotaur from this one (for the nth time):
The Magnificent, by Boris Vallejo

Re: Game art copied from elsewhere
The red posing pouch image is dated 97, so Boris is probably reusing references or copying old pictures...
Re: Game art copied from elsewhere
OK, this one is NOT Vallejo. I repeat: NOT Vallejo.
Ghostbusters movie poster
Pulsoids cover
(The pose is slightly different, so I suspect the artist may have copied a slightly different image from the one I have shown above. It seems less likely that the artist modified the pose, given how little else he or she seems to have changed.)

Rastan cover
The figure on the right is copied from Earl Norem's cover to Savage Sword of Conan 24:
I think the green creature on the left is based on the following Vallejo picture, reversed left to right, with slight modifications:

You've convinced me - the inlay of my next game will include a Vallejo homage

Sure thing, pity the game is a heap of garbage
