Friday Quiz: Health

Post by GreenCard »

It's Friday! Woohooooo! :D

Here are 20 images of health/life/energy meters from various games. Can you identify which games they come from?

Image

Rules for this quiz: no more than three answers per post, no consecutive posts (of answers) from the same user. If clues are given, answers are worth half a point each from that point on.

Good luck! :)

It is from Avalon, but either answer would have been accepted, seeing as they're identical in both games. :)

It's very close, but I'm afraid we can't accept that answer.

8 looks like it belongs in one of the later Dizzy games - probably Magicland, probably also Prince of The Yolkfolk which used the same engine. And, likely as not, Dizzy X, Y, A, B and several other Russian adaptations.

It also looks like the cargo meter from Agent Orange, if you flip it horizontally and stretch it.
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!

Wow, thanks! I remember playing that game now but it’s coming from a very deep, dark corner of my memory...

Remind yourself here.

A side note on the quizzes: we’ve got to find a way to make the quiz pic(s) to always be the first post on a page. Ideally, whoever starts one, should be able to update the pic while keeping it at the original URL. It’s a hassle to go back and forth just to see which answers have already been given and marked as correct.

I wonder if that could be automated somehow . . .
