I don’t know why but I’ve had a hankering to play some MSX games that weren’t available on the Spectrum. I then remembered that two MSX classics by Konami Knightmare https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/ ... ghtmare_ZX, it’s sequel Knightmare 2 https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/ ... tmare_2_ZX and King’s Valley https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/ ... ngs_Valley were converted over years later.
What other games originated on other machines and only received a conversion later on (maybe even years after)?
Although I didn’t realise at the time that Road Race (given away free by Your Sinclair) is actually an MSX original game - Hyper Rally - with some minor graphical changes. I can only assume it wasn’t deemed good enough for a full price Imagine release like the other Konami games!
