Here's my first (crappy) attemp to make a crossword. All the game titles have only one word, so this time Raid Over Moscow won't be included, sorry! :D

ACROSS

1. A flying carnivorous (at 1,2). Initials of a very develop machine (at 1,9)
3. Often trasparent (at 3,7)
4. Dense, odorless noble gas found in the Earth's atmosphere in trace amounts.
5. Russian arcade hero (at 5,5)
6. Won three oscars, including best picture (at 6,1)
8. Definitely it is (at 8,2)
10. Fashionable man (at 10,1). Speccy hero that tries to escape (at 10,7)
12. Film director Almodovar's fave game.

DOWN

5. Speccy menial servant at Her Majesty's service (at 1,5)
7. Best lasagna fan (at 3,7)
9. Brian Ferry's fave game (at 1,9)
12. Space Invasion

Forgot to say some definitions are speccy related, some not (byt all refers to Spectrum games).

Four across is Radon. The Brian Ferry one is Avalon.

Nice idea for a quiz.

Avalon correct, Radon wrong, as Radon it's not a Spectrum game (maybe I was wrong in my second post. All refers to Spectrum games, but their definitions not cecessarily... what a mess!

Correct.

No clues for 4 and 8 down, they're only one-word squares. As I said at first, this is my crappy attempt! :D

It fits ok, starting at (1,5). Or is it (5,1)?
