Of course! That game manages to capture the most tense atmosphere ever, it's terrifying. And I never even made it off the first screen.

Glider Rider is one of those games I couldn't get it back in the day and I've only played it on a emulator.
I would have enjoyed it a lot in my Spectrum, definitely.

There's games I've played more than any of the ones mentioned so far, like Gobble A Ghost, Gremlins and Grand National, but I don't think they'll trouble the scorers when it comes to the final count.
Haven't played The Great Escape so I'll need to have a look.

Yeah, Grand National is a game I played a lot, interesting, but I don't think it would be a good contender in this thread.

I would also add
Grell and Falla
It's no winner here and maybe not so popular as it came to the market in final days of commercial Spectrum when everybody was moving to other platforms.
But It's a really polished game, very pretty and colourful with lots of content and hours of gameplay.

The RZX walkthru is NINE HOURS!!! After which it just wraps round from level 50 to level 1!!! - well what do you expect for 3.99

I wonder if this was Pro Golf from Hornby Software. This advert was in Sinclair User.

Should G-Force be included?
Apparently it was initially called Tempest, but there's no cassette inlay of it called that.
