ZXword
ZXword
Crossword time. The clues are all Spectrum related and fall into three categories:
1. “straight”, which are standard definitional clues (though those ending in question marks have slight twists),
2. “anagram”, which involves rearranging the letters, and
3. “cryptic”, which obey the rules in my cryptic crossword guide, except there is no straight part, just the cryptic part.
Each clue type is clearly labelled.
Have fun.
(I’m afraid the grid is not exactly symmetrical. Fixing the symmetry would have involved removing clues, so I thought it better to leave it slightly asymmetrical.)
(My cryptic clue guide is here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=230.)

Re: ZXword
All correct so far, except Wizball.
Yes, Demon is niche, but it was all I could find that would fit.

Re: ZXword
Can I re-watch the 2003 contest? It had many great tunes, but a crap winner.
Tatu(Russia), Jemini(UK), Lou(Germany), Beth(Spain), Lior Narkis(Israel), Esther Hart(Netherlands), Fame(Sweden) - they all had great tunes.
