And now a tricky one:

Street Sports Basketball:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... id=4942

In the instructions file we can read:

'Original artwork for Commodore 64 version by Suzie Green, Sheryl Knowles and Michael Kosaka'

The question is after checking the Commodore inlay in the Mobygames link I see there are two different inlays for the C64, both disk versions.

I had a search in google and I could easily find a C64 cassette inlay with the same artwork as the Spectrum one.

But the instructions are for both disk and cassette versions... so can anyone shed light on this? :?

The credits on Mobygames for other games that Suzie Green, Sheryl Knowles and Michael Kosaka worked on are all for graphics rather than cover art so I think that credit is for in-game art that only appears in the C64 version.

I think I just found a treasure: :P

A web about artist of classic videogames. Here, Mastertronic:

http://www.boxequalsart.com/mastertroni ... ge.html

... and Ocean:

http://www.boxequalsart.com/oceanpublisherpage.html

A list with games/author at the end of the article.

I'll check it and see which games in these articles don't include their artist in ZXDB.

Good thing they also include the nationality of the authors, Chris Kenyon for example is from USA.

I'm unsure about this one. All three Horace games have some very similar art, seems odd he is credited only on this one. I mean, might be true, but makes me uneasy for some reason. Not sure if we can find another source, thought.

Yep, seems logic.

Has anyone got more info about this?

Archon: The Light and the Dark (EA) by Dave McMacken

F-15 Strike Eagle (Microprose) by David Martin

Savage Island part 1 (Adventure International) by Don Dixon; (Tynesoft re-release cover) by Angus McKie (*)
Savage Island part 2 (Adventure International) by Don Dixon; (Tynesoft re-release cover) by Angus McKie (*)

http://www.boxequalsart.com/index-page-d.html

(*) According to Mobygames, Don Dixon did the Adventure Int. cover (pt 1 & 2) and Angus McKie did the Tynesoft inlays.

The available inlays at SC (parts 1 & 2) are the re-release covers instead. they should be re-labeled as 're-release inlay (Tynesoft)' IMO. The Adventure International covers are these ones. It also can be checked is this fabulous text adventure DB:

Confirmed from the instructions of Super Stuntman (also, very distinctive artwork from this artist).

English artist Emmanuel did the artwork for:

The Adventures of St Bernard (Carnell Software)
Black Crystal (Carnell Software).
Citadel of Chaos (Carnell Software)
The Crypt (Carnell Software)
Devil Rides In (Carnell Software)
Starforce One (Carnell Software)
Volcanic Dungeon (Carnell Software)

http://www.boxequalsart.com/index-page-e.html

A curious thing is The Wrath of Magra (also by Carnell) includes 'Emmanuel' in its SC entry, but not as an artist, but as another coder. No reference of this game in BOX=ART, as you can see.

This must be Citadel of Chaos by Puffin/Penguin. Emmanuel did the cover of the original book but the Spectrum version was never released.

Thanks for the clarification. I usually check every game in the DB before posting but this time I presumed all these Carnell games were published. I focused more on the Wrath of Magra topic. My fault!
