Quazatron, surely. Probably even less competition than M.

Wait till letter 'Q' (only two threads away) or 'X'! :D
Ah, but with computer games, X can be fairly common (unlike with regular subjects).

Back in the day, I had YS's Tipshop Tiptionary, which at the time for me was the longest alphabetical list of Spectrum games. And I saw plenty I liked under S and T. It's going to be a lot of work for me when I hit those letters.

The only games starting with X I remember now are Xeno (good game, by the way) or Xavior .

I'm afraid it'll be a very short list.

I went for The Oracle's Cave. I have really fond memories of the day I got my Speccy, Xmas '83, and spending hours playing it with my mum. Never did manage to complete it.

Second would have been Operation Wolf (one of the last Speccy games I ever bought), followed by Olli and Lissa which was a damn fine budget game.

Yep, me too - Oracle's Cave.

Early dungeon hack, loved playing it.

Hell yes!!! Q is such an easy pick. May be a short list, but nothing comes close to KLP2.
I don't have anything cool to put here, so i'll just be off now to see a priest with yeast stuck between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief...

Wow, you really inserted Oh sh*t!, which is probably what the users said when reading the "O" list.

For me, it's a really easy choice, because I had a great and frantic fun playing Orc Attack! three or four years ago, when I actually found how to move the sprite properly. Great little arcade game.

I'm also glad that somebody voted for Ometron, which I've proposed, and it's a cute little vector graphics shoot'em up from the early days - which I've also discovered only recently (well, five years ago).

Out Run has always been a bore to me, while I found the technically brilliant Operation Wolf rather hard.

As for the "poor choices letters" that we're going to meet, I think "X" will have some fine candidates, with stuff like Xor (great puzzle game) and Xecutor.

Just realised after the role playing thread that Out of the Shadows would have been a good addition to the 'O' list.

Might have taken me a bit of time to decide between that and Oracle's Cave.

There we go, Ocean's Operation Wolf secures the win for O by gaining six votes.

Closely followed by Firebird's Ollie & Lisa, with five votes.

Joint third - The Oracle's Cave and Out Run - four votes each.

In fourth: One Man And His Droid and Orc Attack, two votes each.

Yer also-rans are On The Run; Ometron; Operation Thunderbolt and Overlander, each with one vote.

Still, Oh Mummy didn't win and that's the main thing.
