Hehe.
I just checked and Cruelman reviewed it on Spectrum 2.0 back in 2015, it ended on something of a cliffhanger:
A what? I'm on tenterhooks! But I personally find it rich in playability and addictiveness os it's a

But I have a hat, you don't.
Re: Game of the day...
True. But you don't have trousers.
Re: Game of the day...
I have been playing Zythum as it happens (didn't manage Fred). Second level so far. It's pretty good if you give it a chance. I'm glad they included smartbombs, as those 'back attack' games can be annoying.
The instructions suggest it's basically a quest for beer.

Pfft.
Every man should plant a tree, build a house, and write a ZX Spectrum game.

Re: Game of the day...
Pfff! What a boring ending!
Re: Game of the day...
That's quite good by Speccy standards! I'd take that over the perfunctory "CONGRATULATIONS" or sadistic 'back to level one' anyday!
They missed a trick though:

I was just joking about it and yes, it's the usual speccy standards.
BTW, there are even worse endings, like Underwurlde...

Jungle Trouble by Durell.
I'd define it with only two words: I CAN'T.
I go to the right, grab the axe, run to the left (according to the instructions) but I can't jump over the stones so the friendly crocodile come across me.
I remember, when I was young, leaping over these stones one day but I can't remember now how I did it...
One of the most frustrating games I've played.

You guys have spoiled me the surprise of Zythum's spectacular ending.
Re: Game of the day...
Quite surprised you hadn't seen it yet considering you've been playing it continuously for the last 3 or so years...
