Getting my ZX Spectrum+ up and running again...

I did push some keys. There was a click from some but not all of them, and it didn’t click repeatedly when I held a key down or pressed it repeatedly - it’s been 20 odd years and I can’t remember how the Speccy behaved on a good day.

Another strange thing - I tried resetting the computer several times. I also unplugged the power supply at the connector and replugged it back in. Once or twice it would randomly start to “load” something - like the final blue and gold flashing stripes when a tape was loading, with the noise. I waited and of course nothing “loaded”! I’m not sure what that was about, but it didn’t seem right.

I packed it away again, otherwise I’d have taken a photo. Do you think it can be resurrected?
