The DivMMC Enjoy from Bytedelight in the Netherlands apparently has a feature to allow you to capture snapshots of a loaded game, save it and continue later. Would that be essentially the same thing as an old Multiface 'capturing' a game?

Does anyone know if the snapshot on the Bytedelight can be saved to disk (either the SD 'disk' or an actual disk) on a +3?

When I used my DivMMC the .sna file is saved in the root or the folder where you loaded the game from which I can re-load when ever I like.

You can also load a game from tape, press the NMI button on the DivMMC and save the .sna snapshot file in the same way you would have used a Multiface.

I have a +2 but see no reason why it wouldn't work on a +3.

I can just about remember cracking tape games (very few and usually just the simple ones) from tape to disk in the 90s, but memory has failed and there seem to be easier ways to do it nowadays. When I actually come to try that I expect I'll need more assistance.

If you have a 3.5" drive attached to your +3 - you can save .SNA files to a DOS Floppy and use this program to run them on your +3.

I've not tried the DivMMC Enjoy, but I'd recommend the DivMMC Future from https://www.thefuturewas8bit.com/divmmcfuture

It comes in a professional casing, it's small, it's "plug and play" (so no dip switches) and it's got a built in Kempston joystick, great for those early Ultimate games that didn't support the Sinclair interface!

It has all the DivMMC features, like save Snapshot
