Replaced the belts as they were totally shot and just slipping (Neither capstan rotated).
Now have Fast Forward and Rewind. Pressing Play the take up capstan does not rotate. While the other capstan does pushing the tape off the spool so the tape bunches up inside the cassette as nothing taking the tape past the read head.

Took the mechanism out and when the play was pressed the operating arm was not fully travelling to engage the transfer gear with the drive.
A bit of gentle cleaning and moving the arm back and forth a few times. The gear now engages properly with the drive. Now to find a working tape to try and load in
