TZX editing software for Mac?

Post by pianomatt »

Hi Everyone

I've been using ZX-Blockeditor to edit and extract data from TZX files, but since it's Windows only I can only use it when I have access to Windows. Is there anything similar for MacOS? All I really need is something that will let me add and extract blocks of data in either binary or text format. I've tried the command line tools tzxtools but they only seem to be able to extract data from existing TZX files or convert them to TAP or WAV, not actually create new TZX files.

Any info would be appreciated.

I use Tapir and Wine. Works a treat.

Of course, you could always use zasm (see link in my signature) for more sophisticated stuff. It’s an assembler, but, among other things, it can create TZX files of any complexity and structure, and your ASM source can include binary files.
