16K ZX81 emulation with Windows (for dummies)

Post by R-Tape »

Title sums it up really. How does the fairweather ZX81 enthusiast load the increasing number of 16K ZX81 titles in an emulator in Windows?

Well, I'm not really a "ZX81 enthusiast", but long time ago I loaded the .p files with EightyOne, a zx81/zx spectrum emulator and ran good.

I'm using EightyOne. If I 'open with', it doesn't work. Either I'm using an old version, or missing something in the settings. I'll check tomorrow.

Try "Options", "Hardware", "ZX81".
