So I have been trying to get Pentagon1024 to run and have a play with all the extra memory and peripherals. However I got the pentagon roms and the trdos.rom installed and fuse gives me the
Screen and I think well a bit on the cryptic side but ok... That's cool I think that I now have a 1mb spectrum... but I try and load any of the p.c. options and I get the following.
Do I need a disk set up from fuse? I seem to be missing some important steps in the process.

Pentagon and Fuse
Re: Pentagon and Fuse
the answer may be on this thread: https://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/ ... ent_923291
I'm also interested in knowing how to make Fuse load eastern machines. They mention something about resetting Fuse's config file and also loading models from .szx
where are those illegal roms escape me.. for now

hikoki As I don't see the Russian machines having copyright issues I enclose a link to where you can find the Pentagon ROMs.

Re: Pentagon and Fuse
Some options of the Gluk service ROM need a TRDOS disk, e.g.,
- select trdos
- Media -> Disk -> Beta -> Drive A: -> Insert new...
- FORMAT "disk"
- reset the machine
- select pc

Re: Pentagon and Fuse
As far as i know fuse not emulate pentagon border correctly. On real Pentagon border can be moved by 1 pixel, not like on classic machines.
Just try to run some border demos to see a problem. Something like http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=68035

Re: Pentagon and Fuse
The kind of things that these guys did with the base design of the spectrum is quite something. It's like if people now instead of just using the raspberry pi improved/altered the unit then propagated new design ideas to the community. That is a interesting way to improve a design. You are offsetting the development costs amongst a much larger group of individuals.
