Spectrum Computing

So i am making a text adventure called the package and am having an issue with the screen not listing properly. i am using EightyOne and every time i list the screen i get a 5/13 message, despite the fact that i have completed 20-21 lines already, plus the alternate ending.

Have you tried using the SCROLL statement whenever the screen gets full? AFAIK the ZX81 doesn't scroll the screen automatically like the Spectrum.
