Y'know, other stuff, Sinclair related.

Instead of going down to the boozer
Bert typed in a game from Sinclair User
He ran it then pressed Break
Then typed NEW by mistake
Then Enter... oh dear, what a loser!

A Scotsman by the name of McJames
Used his sporran to store Spectrum games
Joysticks and mags
And a packet of fags
So he'd have something to do when it rains

A ZX fan who lived down the road
Could not get his cassette to load
Until he read what was wrote,
"Don't type Load quote quote
Instead you type load quote quote CODE"

Those are all great, but the end of that last one is gold!

A Jet Set Willier from near Hickstead
Didn't believe the Attic bug existed
He's tried for 34 years
And come close to tears
"I'll complete it one day," he insisted.

There's a legendary game, Mire Mare
By a company now known as Rare
Or is it "Mirry Marey"?
We don't know, 'cos so far we
Haven't seen enough proof... it's not fair!

A BASIC programmer did state
"User defined graphics are great!"
But he soon changed his mind
When sadly did find
A problem in mode 128

A rubber-key fan of Worksop
Decided to take off the top.
He made a big fuss
Of upgrade to a Plus,
Then found that he couldn't type STOP.

Back when we were still banging rocks
Some people were in for some shocks.
A game came before us,
It's name was Buzzsaw+,
And now it's on tape in a box!!! :D

Yesterday I had some sudden inspiration for more silly limericks, sorry!

There was a young man from Dumfries
Who had problems using cursor keys
He said, "6789
To me are just fine
I can move things with these keys with ease."

A train faring fellow called Malc
Typed railway times into Vu-Calc
And for the stations
Used abbreviations
e.g. Salford Central became SALC.

A philosopher from near Kinross
Pondered the meaning of N Statement lost
He thought, "I'm not certain
What my Spectrum's asserting."
The confusion he felt made him cross.

VuCalc, best one yet. I let out an audible chuckle, and bear in mind that I'm due at work soon.
