Aaah. I thought it looked familiar. It could be a coincidence, but I wondered about Gilligan's Gold. Either way—I bet Boris Vallejo did both originally.

I never had the pleasure. What was the expectation? Despite the fact it was a BASIC type in, I would probably still have been naive enough to expect it to be like Manic Miner.

That’s exactly what my expectation was. As a somewhat simple 11 year old I failed to realise that a couple of pages of BASIC could only ever produce something purely awful
