It's Mylar roll.

That's the hardest one, maybe not fair using an American term. My hope was that the second and third pics would be enough.

Yes!

Sounds like "Mylar" + "Di" + "Catch". Crazy game, crazy caption.

Just 12 to go.

It's a lathe.

I don't know if this one is possible for a non native speaker, because of the first picture (sorry, I'll bear that in mind next time).

It's taken me all day to realise that it's a Welsh flag printed across his screwed-up face so perhaps he's meant to be dressed as a daffodil, despite a daffodil looking nothing like the head-dress he's wearing. The picture is a bit too small to figure all that out. But even then I don't see how anything to do with the Welsh or their football or rugby supporters or daffodils goes with a lathe, turning, milling, knurling, sharpening or tooling. I think you've properly lost it.

(It's okay to say Taffy these days isn't it? I'm a Hughes if it helps)

Well, never heard of the last two, and he'd be a 'Taff' not 'Taffy'.

Thaaankyou.

They're worth a look for an insight into the drug addled minds of the authors at least (Taffy's loader especially, Myla's game).

Ta for playing all, same time next week (or drop me a PM if you want to do a Friday Quiz™ instead).
