How's it going pavero . I was browsing a few inlays today and noticed that there is no 'Elite Systems' inlays !? Only the very old WOS ones. Do you have any good quality Crash + Sinclair User etc. covertape inlays in nice quality ? Keep up the good work ! :D

Yes, Elite systems inlays are on my list ... only 5 inlays missing for completing the set. Then I will publish them. ;-)

Now I'm not focusing on covertapes, but you will find many of them in Mort's great archive ...

Thanks for the link but i'll have to pass on that as the filesizes are way too big for my internet connection !

I found another popular publisher almost completely missing from your remasters, 'US Gold'. There are only a couple of games in there. Are 'Acro Jet' and 'Silent Service' correct as US Gold because I don't see a US Gold logo or any mention on the boxes (only the white AcroJet inlay) ?

US Gold is also on the list. About 10 compilation inlays are missing now ...

Silent Serive and AcroJet, at least for me, are titles from Microprose. ;-)

That's what I thought. Only the white AcroJet inlay has a US Gold mention. Also, the Kixx release of 'Project Stealth Fighter' is in the MicroProse category.
Looking forward to your work. :)

Silent Service and AcroJet were published in Europe by US Gold. Microprose didn't think they were getting a good deal from US Gold, so they opened their own division in the UK so they could publish their games themselves.

@pavero Hi, are you keeping a list of what's missing when you do these inlays ? If so, any chance you could share it ? For instance, what's missing from the Codemasters inlays, maybe the CD Pack. I saw the basic list on the previous page but what are the '+' signs next to some of them mean ? Thanks in advance. (Missing your updates ;) ).

Good question. Here you go ...

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/missing_inlays.php
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/missing_inlays_list.txt

I would say CodeMasters inlays are complete, only CD pack is missing ...

'+' - inlays from these publishers were fully restored (removed scratches, tears, marks, etc.)

Hi pavero !

Just noticed the Dragon's Lair inlay doesn't have "OWNED BY MAGICOM AND USED BY PERMISSION" text along with the (R) symbol in the spine side.

The previous file (from old WoS) did have it, whereas Mort 's site did have it too, what made me think it was erased while restoring, maybe?

If not, we should keep the previous one as an alternate inlay.

Good point! The text is almost invisible on some inlays, so it was really removed. Fixed now!

Thanks for all the remasters Pavero! How's it going with the US Gold inlays ? Just wondered, are you waiting to get the full set before posting because I think you said some of the compilations were missing ?
