A new (experimental) inlays viewer is now available!

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/inlays_ ... el_id=2631

You can search inlays by title or by publisher or by combination both of them at once.

We need to think about a way to integrate this with the website layout/design.

Right now, SC has a quick search field at the top right corner of every page. I would keep it without changes.

SC also has a more detailed search form in the home page. I suggest modifying it to have 4 tabs:

* Search titles (exactly like current advanced search)

* Search labels (people and companies)

* Search magazines

* Search inlays

Just a question, @pavero ... hi-res Imagine or Ocean inlays were already added some time ago in a website update (IIRC) so why do you say that? They're not the same as the one in the archive?

No, they aren't the same at all. From every single inlay all scratches, tears and marks were removed in Photoshop.

And they were re-uploaded again.

E.g. old one:

And new one:

I hope someone will find a difference. :-)

Outstanding work @pavero !! These are a real nostalgia trip for me. Do you have many of the following that could use a remaster -

Artic Computing
Adventure International
Magazine Covertape Inlays (like Sinclair User & Crash)

pavero Hi, out of interest, did you have any of the inlays I listed above for remaster or are you done now with remastering inlays ?

If you are talking about Artic or Adventure International inlays. No, I haven't begun to process them yet.

How's it going pavero . I was browsing a few inlays today and noticed that there is no 'Elite Systems' inlays !? Only the very old WOS ones. Do you have any good quality Crash + Sinclair User etc. covertape inlays in nice quality ? Keep up the good work ! :D

Yes, Elite systems inlays are on my list ... only 5 inlays missing for completing the set. Then I will publish them. ;-)

Now I'm not focusing on covertapes, but you will find many of them in Mort's great archive ...

Thanks for the link but i'll have to pass on that as the filesizes are way too big for my internet connection !

I found another popular publisher almost completely missing from your remasters, 'US Gold'. There are only a couple of games in there. Are 'Acro Jet' and 'Silent Service' correct as US Gold because I don't see a US Gold logo or any mention on the boxes (only the white AcroJet inlay) ?

US Gold is also on the list. About 10 compilation inlays are missing now ...

Silent Serive and AcroJet, at least for me, are titles from Microprose. ;-)

That's what I thought. Only the white AcroJet inlay has a US Gold mention. Also, the Kixx release of 'Project Stealth Fighter' is in the MicroProse category.
Looking forward to your work. :)
