New Topic Preview

Post by PeterJ »

Hello,

I have installed a new plugin which provides a nice topic preview when you hover over a topic. The first 150 characters of the first and last post are displayed. Let me know what you think:

It is not for mobile.

Thanks Peter. I found it a useful feature, makes it much quicker and more convenient to get a quick glimpse of a topic without having to go there.

I know I said, a year ago, that this was a great feature ... but it has been annoying me for a while now.
Is there a way to turn it off?

You just have to train yourself to not hovering the mouse pointer over the list of new topics as you read them, otherwise a lump of useless text pops up and obscures what you were reading.

It's annoyed me from day one, but other people seem to like it. :)

Let me discuss with R-Tape and we will probably start a poll in a week or two as to if to keep it. It would need a reasonable number of votes though to be useful.

Personally I find it useful, but am happy to go with the majority.
