Thanks for the screenshots, they do help.
I'm aware that it's not optimal on intermediate resolution devices and will correct the text sizes when possible ;)

Worth to mention that this update contains about 130 new ZX81 entries as well.

I noticed that the last update misses stuff I uploaded by recently added upload facility.

Will it be added in the future or do I need to upload it again, maybe in the old way?

The last update was partial. The next one may be a bit lean too.

No need to upload again. It's there, and we'll get around to it. This month is going to need more patience than normal :-)

I'm traveling, R-Tape is busy with WOOT, and we have just released ZX-Ed (our new internal update system) so we will need a little time to adapt to the new process. It will probably take about a month or so until we can get everything sorted out. We expect everything to be much more efficient afterwards.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

No problem for me. The key is all this is moving (READ: often updates, new stuff, improving the site, etc).

No matter how fast or how often, but it's moving.

The trick is, whenever I find out there will be a holiday somewhere in the world, I find an excuse to be there!

Time was short, we need to get used to the new update system, so we prioritised getting the new software. Sorry you've got to wait again for your MIA, upload or fix; after a rest, we will get round to these in the new year :-)

This is a smallish test update, to show that the new ZX-Ed system is working. If you're file/entry/fix isn't here—don't despair! We plan a series of small updates close together, so we can clear the Christmas backlog.

New entries:
Bandersnatch Extra
Nozhdyve
DT+ Tool (ta JPNZ)
Forever 2019 invite (ta g0blinish)
Fractions (ta Ralf)
Clickety Click’s Dungeon (ta chip-fork, sorry we’re so late)
EAN-13 (ta Ralf)

Files and fixes:
Updated files for 21 UDGs (thanks Phil Hite)
New (belated) files for Acheton, Avon, Murdac (ta 8bitAG)
Update files for A Yankee in Iraq (Ta Ast)
Files for Blimpgeddon (Ta Narwhal)
Updated files for Bobby Carrot (Ta Richard)
File for Megascreen Multicolour Editor (thanks Ralf)
Spanish version of Penguin (thanks dru)
Loading screen for Hibernated-1 (ta dru)
Files for The Dark Hospital (ta dru & Isaac)
Druellan’s ‘NOT vector’ fixes done
Screens for Boa

Apologies: plenty, but give us a month, we'll get there!

Hi PeterJ;

There is a small mistake in this update. I love Spain and I love my Spanish neighbors but I'm Portuguese and I live in Portugal :D

So, where it is:

Penisoft (Spain)
madaxe (Spain)
José Mário Machado (Spain)

Should be:

Penisoft (Portugal)
madaxe (Portugal)
José Mário Machado (Portugal)

Hope you correct it soon .

Best Regards,
José Mário Machado a.k.a. MadAxe
Penisoft
Portugal

This is weird, I can't find any trace of you in the SC search, and I thought I didn't add you properly yet! Can you link to where you found this information?

Thanks for the update!

One note: this Bandersnatch barcode program better would be classified as "demo", not "simulation"

I deliberated between the two genres, and opted for simulation because it was a pretend representation (like the teletext simulator). But since you mention Ralf, demo does feel more correct today. Demo then? Anyone disagree?

I think is 'unclassifiable', as it's not a demo nor a simulation, IMHO. I see as just a 'link' to a web page... is there anything similar in the archive? Hard to be classified, anyway.

... does 'easter egg' exist as a genre?

This is not a typical demo but has many elements of a demo - displays in ono-interactive way some visuals with some effects mimicking an old TV.

I remember something similar done in the 80s - some very simple program displaying some text hidden between music on a vinyl record. I'll try to find it later today.

It has been also added as a demo to the biggest Russian site with Spectrum demos so they also believe it's a demo ;)

I'll try to give some more info later.
