The following message is from Digital Ocean, who are the company who host our website.

Start: 2018-06-06 21:00 UTC
End: 2018-06-07 03:00 UTC

During the above window, the networking team will be upgrading some pieces of networking equipment to improve performance and reliability for our LON1 location

Expected Impact:

There may be a few minutes of increased latency as well as small amounts of packet loss while we shift traffic to redundant devices. However, all sites should be fully reachable during the maintenance

Is it possible to use this to get a list of only games from the Maze genre? (if yes what would be the text to use for the other genres?)

Why would you not just choose maze games from the genre drop-down R-Tape?

I'd like to be able to post a link on the forum (web address of genre search works well but isn't transferable).

Hi again R-Tape, if you look at the following post, it tells you how to do it. The actual at the end of the post is the one to use. Email me if you have any problems.

We are now starting to provide links to the excellent Spectrum Show magazine from Paul Jenkinson PaulJ.

I'm working my way (way to slowly) through the issues, and Einar is importing them into ZXDB.

You can see an example here. Just go down to the magazine references section. It doesn't currently give you the option to view the specific page, but it does tell you the page number and a link to download the PDF.

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=27506

You can find more about the Spectrum Show magazine on Paul's website.

We have added a new section in the main game information block for "Programming Languages", and also to display people's real name next to their aliases.

For instance:

Hi Everyone,

I've noticed that Gandalf page, don't tag as it "Features: Rainbow Graphics (Multicolour)"

Also Bomberman another demo , don't tag it and the screenshot is not showing multicolour.

Thanks Cgonzalez,

I'm sure Einar Saukas, who maintains ZXDB will add these to the list.

Those missing features were my mistake. The new screenshot will be an all action MLT that captures an explosion :D , it'll appear in the next update.

Just to note that we are aware of some speed issues with certain searches using the advanced search. We are trying to track down the issues.

Thanks Ralf, the loading screen seems incorrectly coded as a running screen (You can see the correct one at the bottom of the page). I'm sure the main main R-Tape can update his spreadsheet with the next update.

Ta.

It's a double mistake. Firstly I seem to have labelled it as a run screen, secondly I thought saving as .mlt would preserve the shimmering effect (it doesn't).

Apart from that - perfect!

Hi Ralf,

Did you only mean the name of the file should be adjusted? (marked as run when it should be load*)

Or did you also mean the image looks broken?

Image

All other formats are worse IMO - .gif and .scr have missing letters entirely due to the flickering effect. I suppose an animated .gif would do it, but I don't know if that's an option or if it's even worth it.
